I have been working on a new series of paintings based on photos of flowers taken by my friends and family. They are small 9"x 10" watercolors and I am keeping the paint technique loose and watery. I am also having some fun with Canva adding quotes and layouts so I can post the work to Instagram and Facebook. Starting a new painting is joy-fear. It is an extended conversation and creative process where I never know exactly how it will go. Here is my inspiration for the new painting I am starting today:
